That was certainly the narrow escape for this young elephant! The troop of lions comprising of 14 lions of varied age and strength attacked this elephant calf. 

But this calf definitely had the luckiest day of its life. He could manage to fight them off with its trunk. To add to his luck the lion troop never atatcked the calf with full strengt; and maximum 2 lions were seen attacking. 

Nevertheless, it was good day for the Elephant calf who survived the attack by 14 lions and a good training for those young lion cubs in the troop!
